Meet  - PAUL FAGAN

- Master Licensee and Managing Director - ActionCOACH Business Coach Ireland: 

Paul Fagan - Master Licensee and Managing Director of ActionCOACH Ireland - introduced ActionCOACH to Ireland in 2002. Paul is married with two young children, he grew up in and still lives in Howth, Co. Dublin. He has extensive experience in Banking having spent 7 years working in branch banking before moving to London to work with Bank of Boston in 1989. In early 1991 - Paul returned to Dublin and joined Ulster Investment Bank as Manager in the Corporate Banking Division where he worked with corporate clients in the property and argicultural sectors. Paul transferred to the Private Client Unit at Ulster Bank Group in 1997 as the demand for investment management services was growing in line with the growing Irish economy. 

During his career, in the days before the 'Celtic Tiger', Paul Fagan saw many Irish companies struggle and realised that in most cases it was that the Business Owners were too busy working on the day-to-day activities and not able to spend time growing the business. 

Paul Fagan - Master Licensee and Managing Director of ActionCOACH Ireland - is a Certified Business Coach. He is recognised as an expert in Franchising and is also a board member of the Irish Franchise Association.  

ActionCOACH Ireland now has a team of 18 Irish Business Coaches - located nationwide.

- Reluctance on behalf of the business owners to seek outside help in a timely manner
- Stress from all of the above leading to burn-out and business breakdown

 Our recent client Survey shows that only 21% of our clients hold a Business Related degree – therefore almost 80% of Business Owners have no formal business training and in this current economic climate – now more than ever before - they need our help. Our statistics also show that almost 40% of our clients are in business less than 10 years, they have no experience of trading in a recession and need our help to change and adapt in order to survive in these changed circumstances. Having a Business Coach is now no longer a luxury – it is essential for the survival of all SME’s.
